This webpage was started in August of 2002 at roughly 3:00 in the morning by Luke Snyder. Mostly out of boredom and partially out of just wanting to put his thoughts out there, but not necessarily in someone's ear directly. He sat down and started writing on a crappy online journal site. Originally the site was lifeiscynical.diaryland.com, but that whole "diaryland" tag was a little feminine for Luke (A man's man) so it lasted actually less than a day. At that point he found Tripod, and started doing his best to put together some bastardized code through trial and error.
As time went on Luke learned more about code, and things became a little less trial and error and a little more diliberate. Also things began to expand and now the site just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
In May of 2003, Luke decided to expand the page further and brought in outside help to design and help with the editorials. The design division has expanded tremendously, and the creative division has done much of the same. There are now 47 team members at Life Is Cynical and it looks as if there is no end.
As a bit of direction, at the very top of the main page, is four links that lead to the main parts of the page. Just underneath them is a date...that is the last time something was added to that particular page. If you click on that date, it will automatically take you to the most recent update.
The Journals are updated every day or so, and the editorials and stories are updated on a weekly basis on Mondays. That should pretty much do it. Enjoy your time here.
Oh yeah, be sure and visit the other links at the bottom of the main page. They wouldn't be there if they weren't worth seeing.
